CPB Foundation is a proud partner of AlohaSafe Alert, an app developed for the community, by the community to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Together with the Hawaii State Department of Health (DOH), aio Digital, Hawaii Executive Collaborative and Every1ne Hawaii, this app will notify users if they have been exposed to the virus.

Central Pacific Bank’s Redesigned Flagship Main Branch is Now Open
HONOLULU, HI | January 5, 2021 – Central Pacific Bank opened the doors to its newly redesigned flagship main branch and Central Pacific Plaza lobby on January 4, 2021 with a Hawaiian blessing and maile lei untying ceremony. The new lobby features Aloha Beer Company, Hawaii’s only Starbucks Pickup, and a new co-working space named Tidepools@CPB.

Hawai‘i Launches Movers & Shakas Temporary Resident Program
As winter approaches, the State of Hawai‘i announced Movers & Shakas, a new remote work program aimed at individuals – former Hawai‘i residents and those from out-of-state who want to work remotely from the islands. The program incorporates a unique “give and get” approach, seeking those who are passionate about the values of Hawai‘i and who have the skills and willingness to contribute to the local community.

Virtual Angel Tree Kick-Off
CPB Foundation is proud to once again team up with The Salvation Army (TSA) for the holidays. For the past 10 years, CPB and CPB Foundation helped to raise over $1 million in supporting The Salvation Army with their Angel Tree Campaign and 4-Corner Red Kettle Challenge. This year, the Salvation Army is facing unprecedented challenges during this devastating pandemic, and made a few adjustments to make it safe to donate…with the launch their “Rescue Christmas” campaign.
