Stop payment orders are valid for six months. After that time, the check may be paid and charged to your Account unless you renew the stop payment order for an additional fee. Please note that electronic stop payment requests through our automated Online Banking service may not be effective in stopping the payment of checks that have been posted to, but not finally paid from, your Account on the preceding day.
