HONOLULU, HI (May 28, 2024) – Ignacio Escutia has joined Central Pacific Bank (CPB) as its Kailua-Kona Branch Manager, according to an announcement today by Francine Komine, Vice President and Intra-Island Market Manager, responsible for the bank’s Big Island branches.

Ignacio comes to CPB with 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, which includes roles as a Relationship Banker, Branch Manager and, most recently, a Call Center Manager at an Oregon Credit Union. In his new role, he supervises a staff of seven, that includes branch operations and sales management.

Ignacio is pleased to join CPB’s Kailua-Kona Team and believes that he is strongly aligned with the bank’s corporate culture.

“CPB has a rich legacy in Hawaii dating back to our founding by Nisei veterans who believed in diversity, equality and service to the community,” Escutia said. “I look forward to mirroring these values as I serve our personal and business customers and get involved in causes that support the local community on the Big Island.  It is an important market for us.”

Escutia and his wife, Sara, have three children and reside in Ocean View.

CPB’s Kailua-Kona Branch is located at 75-1010 Henry Street in Kailua-Kona.
