HONOLULU, HI (July 12, 2024) – Central Pacific Bank (CPB) concluded its Go Contactless! campaign today with a grand prize event by awarding a brand new 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport to a lucky participant. Three finalists were selected at random out of more than 2.34 million entries. Finalists met at Central Pacific Plaza in downtown Honolulu and each was given a key, but only one of them was the actual key that unlocked the vehicle, making that finalist the grand prize winner!

CPB is proud to announce the winner of the new 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport, valued at $41,200, is Austin Kehrer from Kailua, who has been a CPB customer for 15 years! Each of the remaining finalists received $1,000.

“We're thrilled to present the new Toyota Tacoma to our loyal customer Austin Kehrer!” said Central Pacific Bank Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer Brandt Farias. “Our Go Contactless! campaign remains a fantastic way to educate customers about the ease and advantages of the tap to pay technology, while offering exciting prizes people love. We continue to be amazed with the campaign’s success with our community!”

“It’s life changing for me. I have a new baby on the way within a month and I’m driving around a real beater right now and this truck has everything, even baby anchors for the car seat, so that’s the biggest thing that it’s a safer car,” said Austin Kehrer, who was ecstatic about winning the grand prize.

Kehrer said he can’t wait to surprise his wife when he comes home with the new truck and he added, “Thank you to CPB for this opportunity! I feel very, very blessed and I have no other words that I could explain how happy and how joyful I actually am right now.”
