Liuone Faagai joins CPB as a group SVP & director of Human Resources

HONOLULU, HI (July 5, 2023) – Local human resources professional Liuone Faagai has joined Central Pacific Bank (CPB) as its new Group Senior Vice President & Director of Human Resources.

Faagai comes to Central Pacific Bank with more than 25 years of human resource management experience. Additionally, he is currently an adjunct professor in the Shidler School of Business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

“We are pleased to have someone with such depth of experience in human resource management with values that match our own join our organization,” said Arnold Martines, CPB president & CEO.  “We are in a relationship business and having an engaged and collaborative workforce is critical to our success.”

Faagai holds a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. He holds a Professional Human Resources Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He is involved in helping the community and is a past board member of the Hawaii International Dyslexia Association and People Attentive to Child Care (PATCH).
