CPB promotes Jason Koyanagi and Darren Ota to Commercial Markets positions
HONOLULU, HI (Jan. 30, 2023) – Central Pacific Bank (CPB) today announced Jason Koyanagi has been promoted to Commercial Banking division manager and Darren Ota as the new Main Commercial Banking Center assistant manager.
“Jason and Darren are both excellent relationship builders in the community and they believe in CPB’s commitment to providing exceptional service for our customers and we look forward to their continued success,” said Executive Vice President, Commercial Markets Diane Murakami.
Koyanagi will oversee three Commercial Banking Centers – Main, Mapunapuna, and Maui. He was most recently senior vice president and manager covering both the Metro and Mapunapuna Commercial Banking Centers. He joined CPB in May 2020 bringing more than 20 years of professional financial experience in various commercial banking capacities. He is a graduate of Moanalua High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Ota previously held the position of vice president and senior Commercial Banking officer of the Metro Commercial Banking Center. He joined CPB in March 2020 and has successfully grown many new banking relationships. He has more than 29 years of professional financial experience. He is from Kona and graduate from Konawaena High School and Santa Clara University.
