Taylor Kirihara and Demaney Kihe join the CPB Mapunapuna commercial banking center
HONOLULU, HI (April 10, 2023) – Central Pacific Bank (CPB) is pleased to announce it has hired Taylor Kirihara as its new senior vice president and Mapunapuna Commercial Banking Center manager and Demaney Kihe as its vice president and Mapunapuna Commercial Banking Center senior officer.
“CPB is well known for providing exceptional customer service and we have every confidence Taylor and Demaney will deliver on that expectation for our clients and community,” said CPB Executive Vice President, Commercial Markets Diane Murakami. “We are happy to welcome them both to the CPB team!”

Taylor Kirihara brings 17 years of professional banking experience in both commercial and retail banking roles with experience spanning small business, commercial banking, credit underwriting, as well as market and division level branch leadership. A graduate of Mililani High School, he holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is active in the community, currently serving as board chair of Helping Hands Hawaii, board member of Breast Cancer Hawaii, and is a member of the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce.
Demaney Kihe is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force with 26 years of professional banking experience. He is well versed in commercial, consumer, and small business lending, credit and financial statement analysis, and retail branch banking. He graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a dual major in Finance and Management, and later earned a Graduate Level Certificate in Bank Management and Leadership from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. He volunteers with numerous organizations including serving on the Pacific Air Command Air Force Civilian Advisory Council; the Hawaii Council for the Humanities; The Minami Community Foundation; the Pacific Gateway Center; and is a teacher and advisor for the U.S. Small Business Administration Emerging Leaders Program.
