CPB is sponsoring free bicycle helmets for Bike Month

HONOLULU, HI (July 26, 2022) – Central Pacific Bank (CPB), Bikeshare Hawaii and Hawaii Bicycling League are proud to be giving away 400 free helmets to members of the cycling community. Residents are invited to stop by The Barn at SALT Kakaako from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 31 to receive a free bike helmet and participate in the concluding Bike Month event of 2022.

“Wearing a bike helmet makes smart, practical sense and CPB is proud to promote the health and safety of cyclists of all ages. These helmets also come with a Shaka Checking sticker to help us build the Shaka Community in Hawaii,” said Central Pacific Bank President and Chief Operating Officer Arnold Martines. “Many thanks to Bikeshare Hawaii and the Hawaii Bicycling League for partnering with us on the successful Bike Month events and for helping riders stay safe all year long.”

Standard bicycle and multi-sport helmets will be available in a variety of colors and sizes for both children and adults. You do not need to be a Biki member or CPB customer to receive a free helmet.

Helmets will be available, first-come, first-served while supplies last. One helmet per every person present.

The Barn is located at SALT at Our Kakaako off Keawe Street. Riders are encouraged to bike or Biki to the event. Garage parking at SALT and street parking is also available for those who drive.
