Central Pacific Bank Announces Executive Promotions

HONOLULU, HI | November 16, 2021 – Central Pacific Bank (CPB) today announced the following executive promotions within the bank’s leadership team:

Catherine “Cathy” Camp, Group Senior Vice President and Division Manager, Commercial Real Estate Lending to Executive Vice President, Real Estate. In this role, Camp will have oversight of the Commercial Real Estate and Home Loan areas of the bank.

Diane Murakami, Group Senior Vice President and Division Manager, Commercial Banking, to Executive Vice President, Commercial Markets. In this role, Murakami will oversee the Business Banking, Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking as well as the Deposit and Cash Management areas of the bank.

Brandt Farias, Senior Vice President, Marketing Division to Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, in addition to Marketing where he oversees brand management, advertising communications, automation, digital and social media, Farias will have oversight of the Digital, Loan, Deposit and Fee Product areas of the bank.

Dayna Matsumoto, Senior Vice President and Controller, to Group Senior Vice President and Controller. In this role, Matsumoto will have oversight of the Controllers, Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, Properties and Business Continuity areas of the bank.

All of the promotions will be effective on January 1, 2022.

Camp brings over 25 years of experience in real estate planning, development, and asset management. Prior to joining CPB, Camp was Director of Planning and Development at Kamehameha Schools. She currently serves on the boards of NAIOP, Diamond Head Theater, Kaʻohao Charter School, and Child & Family Services Real Property Board.

Murakami has 30 years of experience in the financial industry. She earned a BBA in Finance from Loyola Marymount University and graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School. She is chair of the Finance Council-Roman Catholic Church, and serves on the boards of Catholic Charities Hawaii, Mental Health Kokua and the Kahala Business Association.

Farias has over 30 years in the local financial services industry. He holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Management Program. He is on the board of the Hawaii Chapter of the American Heart Association and is also on the Catholic Charities Hawaii Board Nominating Committee.

Matsumoto has nearly 20 years of accounting, audit, and finance experience, 15 of those years with CPB. She is graduate of University of Hawaii at Manoa where she holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance. She is also a CPA and holds an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University. She is the Board Treasurer of the Girl Scouts of Hawaii and is on the Board of the Financial Executives of Hawaii.
