CPB COVID-19 Weekly Update 4-10-20
Our first issue was sent last week and we received encouraging feedback. We’d like to continue sharing resources and bank updates so you are equipped with helpful information to get through these trying times.
Since it’s faster for us to update our website than it is to send an email, we’ll always keep you updated at cpb.bank/COVID-19.
Mahalo and stay well.
Take 1 minute a day to help fight COVID-19
The CPB Foundation is proud to support AlohaTrace, a community-driven data collection effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Hawaii. Your help is needed in answering six anonymous, confidential questions daily – whether you feel fine or unwell. The data will be used to see how/where the virus is moving throughout our community, and track the effectiveness of mitigation strategies. Report your status here.
AlohaTrace is a collaborative effort with the University of Hawaii, the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center and the Pacific Urban Resilience Lab. Read about the effort here.

More than $300,000 donated to #KeepHawaiiCooking
Together, we made a difference! In just six days, our community enthusiastically answered the call to support local restaurants. We achieved our goal of sharing 10,000 meals with the community by covering 50 percent of the tab for takeout meals. More than $300,000 was donated by the CPB Foundation to help stretch your food dollars and in return, you helped provide much needed support to the many local restaurants that are still open and serving comforting meals.
If you’re hungry for more, #KeepHawaiiCooking has new ideas simmering. Follow the Central Pacific Bank and #KeepHawaiiCooking social media accounts, as well as the program’s main website, for updates and announcements coming soon.
Digital banking supports social distancing efforts
To continue practicing stay-at-home orders, we recommend taking advantage of our digital banking services. This is a secure and simple way to do your everyday banking like monitoring accounts, transferring funds between accounts, and paying bills.
Depositing checks can also be completed using the mobile banking app. We’ve recently improved access to your funds by temporarily increasing the mobile check deposit limits to $10,000 daily and $30,000 monthly.
