Central Pacific Bank Kicks Off Its Angel Tree Giving Campaign in Branches

HONOLULU, HI (November 26, 2019) – Central Pacific Bank (CPB) is proud to announce the start of its Angel Tree giving campaign in collaboration with The Salvation Army this Friday, November 29. The Angel Tree program brings joy to thousands of keiki and seniors in Hawaii, by collecting gifts throughout the state for those in need during the holiday season.

Angel Trees are Christmas trees decorated with paper angel tag ornaments with the gift request of a keiki or senior in need. Donors can select one or more tags from the Angel Tree and purchase appropriate gifts for keiki or senior described on the tags. Angel Trees will be available in all CPB branches, starting Friday, November 29^th with gifts collected through December 13^th and monetary donations accepted through December 31^st.

“The CPB Angel Tree giving campaign is a wonderful way for people to share in the giving spirit of the holidays by helping others in our community,” said Catherine Ngo, president of Central Pacific Bank. “In addition to opening our branch network for donations, CPB is proud to have partnered with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree for 10 years, engaging employees bank-wide in a multitude of volunteer opportunities throughout the season.”
