Ten Tomorrow: Making clothing and collaboration beautiful.

“Collaboration makes us all stronger,” says owner/designer Summer Shiigi

She values relationships with other local businesses and her longtime bank.

Ten Tomorrow is more than a brand of clothing designed and made in Hawaii. It’s a boutique in Kaimuki. It’s a shared space for like-minded local businesses. And it’s a creator of opportunity for the neighborhood. “On the weekends we activate the space by bringing in other small brands, people who may not have a storefront, and provide a space for them to do pop-ups,” says Summer.

“I’m so influenced by the women who purchase my brand, like where you’re going to wear us, how you want your clothes to feel,” Summer continues. “We love every single person who walks into the store and hope they feel like they’re shopping with friends and family.”

This holiday season, you can find the perfect present for the fashionistas on your list and save in the bargain. “The whole week of Thanksgiving, the entire clothing line is on some kind of sale, and that’s also when we launch our holiday collection,” Summer explains. “We’ll even have our second-ever men’s aloha shirt in a brand-new print.”

As Ten Tomorrow has grown and evolved, Central Pacific Bank has been there every step of the way. “I’ve had CPB as my bank for my whole life,” says Summer. “When I started my business, there was no one else I wanted to bank with.”

It’s a decision that has paid off over and over. “During COVID, we had to apply for those grants, and having CPB help us figure out and navigate those times gave me such a sense of security when the world was so crazy,” says Summer. “They also literally held my hand through the process when I had to deal with a major case of check fraud. As my banking needs expand, there’s no question: It’s CPB for me.”
